March 22, 2013

Pat MastorsPat Mastors is a Patient Advocacy expert and discusses her invention, an innovative product called the Patient Pod. It’s a simple tool that clips to a patient’s bedrail when they are hospitalized and contains hand sanitizer, wipes and other tools to help patients advocate for themselves during a hospital stay. It’s also a great tool for medical practices to use to brand themselves to their patients who are going in to the hospital. Pat is the author of the book “Design to Survive: 9 Ways an IKEA Approach Can Fix Health Care and Save Lives” and reveals her personal reasons as to why she is so committed to patient advocacy.
