Don’t Miss the 2012 Meaningful Use Reporting Deadline

September 27, 2012

The final date to start your 2012 meaningful use Stage 1 attestation period is almost upon us. You have until October 3 to begin your 90 day reporting period. Eligible practices who meet this deadline can qualify for $44,000 worth of EHR incentive payments, but if you miss the deadline, you’ll reduce your eligibility to $39,000. To date, over $7 billion dollars in incentives have been paid to eligible providers who implemented EHR systems and demonstrated “meaningful use” of those systems.

If you’ve adopted an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system this year, then don’t miss out on your incentive deadline. To get the full CMS guidelines on the meaningful use attestation process, visit http://practicemanagersolutions.com/consulting/meaningful-use/
